It's that time of year again. Our second anniversary. A lot has changed and evolved in the last year. Not only this podcast, but myself as well. I feel motivated. I feel like we should be doing more. I want to do more. This post is going to serve as both a celebration of what we've accomplished in the year prior and also how I'd like to see us go forward.First let me start off by saying, Jace, you have been an amazing co-host and friend throughout this process. Without you, I'm not even sure I'd be writing this post today. I thank you for all the hard work you have put into this and hope we continue to pursue this journey together. Secondly, I'd like to thank all of our special guests this year. We had Alex Gherzo from Geek and Gamers on our Infinity War Review. It was a pleasure having you with us once again, we are constantly learning from you and hope to achieve what you and your team has done over at Geeks and Gamers. We hope to continue to collaborate with you and your site in the future. A very special guest and one I'm still in shock that we were able to put this together is of course Mike from Kanzenshuu. I have been listening to his podcast for many years and to have him on our show was something I thought was reaching too high, but we did it. And it was so much fun to do. His passion for Dragon Ball and everything he does inspires us to be better. We'd love to have you back in year 3. And most recently I would like to thank Ciara Wardlow, who had another amazing episode with Jace. Her perspective and outlook on the various geek culture topics are unique and made us think differently about how we view our favorite franchises. We would be honored if you returned in the future.With all of their help we were able to grow and expand more than we ever have. To share some behind the scenes stats, we have had more visitors in 2018 than we had in 2016 and 2017 combined. This is incredible for us to see that growth, and it just motivates us more. Which brings me to thanking everyone that visits, listens, and engages with us on our social media platforms. When we started this podcast we wanted to educate and give our own opinions on things that we love. We didn't know if people would listen, but it seems that you are, and we are so grateful. You all allow our voices to be heard and keep us going.As for where we go from here, we have plans to expand once again. We are collaborating with other partners that we hope will benefit us both. I am also happy to announce that soon we will start uploading our episodes on YouTube as well. Just another place for our voices to be heard and another choice you have in listening to us. They will be posted slowly over the course of a few months, but once we catch up, new episodes will show up there as well as the regular spots. We will also be looking into SoundCloud and Spotify in the future to give you even more choices, you won't see us on there just yet, but we are always talking about ways to reach farther. On the gaming side of things, we have launched FGC Gaming with Lets Plays and Twitch Streams. New content will be shown on the page, and we have some fun games lined up, you won't want to miss it.It still amazes me that we are still here. I've said it multiple times, I thought there would be a period where we stopped. A time when we said this is too much. I know there were a few moments I wanted to. There were times I didn't think this was worth continuing. We have lives outside of this. And sometimes it can interfere with it. This isn't our full time job. I struggled with myself internally about a dream that I would never accomplish because of my responsibilities outside of all this. But then, I record the next episode, or edit the next Lets Play, or finish a stream on Twitch and I smile. It's what I love to do. I hope it gets to a point where I can call this my full time job. Who knows, maybe with your help we can get there. We will just have to wait and see what the next year has in store. Thank you for sticking around. It really does mean a lot to us.
